Helping to Meet the Christian Needs of Orphan Children in Siberia

Following a recent two month visit to Siberia, Alan Young is now working towards forming a team of local Christian helpers to visit orphanages and poor families in the villages situated outside of the city of Tomsk in central Siberia.
The team is planning to have meetings with the children in the orphanages and villages with the aim of encouraging the children to build an individual relationship with our Lord Jesus.
‘Footprints in the Snow’ has been operating in Siberia for more than 13 years. During this time many children have received gift aid from the generous people living in North Devon. Over the years a wonderful relationship has been formed between our charity and the Social Service authorities in Tomsk. It is planned to encourage the local authorities to accept regular Christian teaching for the children in orphanages, schools and outlying villages provided by a permanent team of helpers from local churches in Tomsk.
