Alan Young is preparing to return to Siberia in early July this year. Preparations are being made for Alan to take a team of local Christian helpers to some of the remote villages situated around the city of Tomsk in central Siberia.
The team is planning to have meetings with the village people to encourage them to build an individual relationship with our Lord Jesus.
‘Footprints in the Snow’ has been operating in Siberia for more than 13 years. During this time many children have received gift aid from the generous people living in North Devon. A wonderful relationship has been formed between our charity and the Directors and Authorities in Tomsk who are responsible for 18 orphanages currently receiving aid from ‘Footprints in the Snow’. Now that a good working relationship has been established with the orphanages it is planned to encourage the directors to accept regular Christian teaching for the children provided by a permanent team of helpers from local churches in Tomsk.
